This is our fifth year as Cub Scouts.
We are all in the 5th Grade. WEBELOS stands for "WE'll
BE LOyal Scouts". During this
year we will work on lots of Achievements. Along
the way we will enjoy all kinds of great, fun,
educational, character building events where we can also
earn badges, beads, belt loops and prizes. At the
end of this year we will take part in a "Bridging
Ceremony" where we will transition out of Cub Scouts and
into Boy Scouts.

To get our WEBELOS II Badge, we will
complete the achievements and our Akela (leader -
parent, teacher, den leader, etc) will sign off on them.
Each "Achievement" has multiple parts and is great fun.
We follow the process in our WEBELOS II Handbook which
helps us prepare for Boy Scouts. In Boy Scouts we
have the responsibility of running our own Troop with
only slight oversight by Akelas. We take on much
responsibility to ensure the Troop and all of our
activities run properly.
